Whitstable Town FC Win the Vase – Wembley Glory and a High Street Homecoming!

There are some days that live forever in the hearts of a town – and Whitstable just had two of them.

The Final at Wembley – A Nail-Biting 2–1 Victory
On Sunday 11th May Whitstable Town FC made club history with a sensational win over Whyteleafe in the FA Vase Final at Wembley Stadium. We were there with grandad to witness the amazing day first hand.

It was the kind of match that had every fan holding their breath – tight, tense, and absolutely unforgettable. Whitstable battled hard, showed real grit, and came away with a 2–1 win that sent the entire end of the stadium into raptures.

The travelling support was incredible – thousands of fans made the journey to back the boys. Flags flying, songs belting out, and that moment the final whistle blew… pure euphoria. It was more than a game – it was a dream realised.

The Homecoming

Fast forward to Saturday 17th May, and Whitstable did what it does best: turned out in massive numbers to give the team the welcome they deserved.

The celebration parade saw the players, coaches, and that beautiful Vase on top of an open-top bus rolling through the High Street. The whole town showed up – locals young and old, lifelong fans, families, and friends – united in pride.

The atmosphere? Electric.
The sights? Unbelievable.
The chants? Non-stop.

We captured the full day on film – a proper 15-minute reel showing the joy, the crowd, the bus, and everything in between. If you were there, you’ll love reliving it. If you missed it, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.

A Town, A Team, A Moment in Time
At Button Addict, we’re all about our community stories – and this is one for the ages. This wasn’t just about football. It was about heart, loyalty, and a town coming together for something truly special.

Congrats again to Whitstable Town FC. You made us proud. You brought it home.
And we’ll be talking about this for years to come.
