His unique sound is all about connecting on a personal level, using rap to bridge the gap between his experiences and his fans’ lives.

The Story Behind the Name

Starting out as “SB” (for Str8busy), Busyyy eventually evolved his name, adding a couple of extra “Y”s to make it distinctively his own. With influences like Potter Payper, Skrapz, Ard Adz, and Rimzee, he draws inspiration from the gritty, real-life stories in their music and uses it to fuel his own sound.

Trials & Tribulations

Busyyy’s latest EP, Trials & Tribulations, is a deeply personal project that reflects his experiences from childhood to adulthood, diving into the hardships and life lessons that have shaped him. Dropped on September 28, 2024 – his 20th birthday – this EP promises to showcase his storytelling at its finest, with tracks that get real about trauma, mental health, and perseverance.
