BAR Release: Telling you feat Exotic
Collaboration between UK and the USA, me the Button Addict and my friend from across the pond known as Exotic The Prophet. Read below to find out how the collaboration all came about and what inspired the track.
UK/USA Collab
Who would have thought that my sounds would travel across the pond. Can’t believe I have done my first collab.
I had been attempting to gain the confidence to believe in myself, something I never had a problem with when I was younger. My biggest mistake was thinking that by helping others become the artists they knew they wanted to be I would somehow get to find out who I am. So I helped others and watched as they grew whilst I became nothing but their bitch and remained invisible. Not blaming any of the people that I had helped though, how could they have even helped me when I was not able to figure out how to help myself. My lack of confidence constantly held me back.
Giving up
Reaching what seemed like the end of a failed venture I was ready to give up. Was seeming like an impossible task to even get friends and family to take me seriously and support my music.
I ain’t religious but f*ck me it is mad how it all changed. I had a random invite to a Discord channel named Smaad. Normally I ignore these sort of things but in a low moment thought F*ck it and joined. Glad I did, the place is full of fun, friendly people and is an amazing community. This led to an American based rapper asking me to do a collaboration.

Exotic The Prophet
Hailing from Washington DC, Exotic is an incredibly talented young Hip-Hop rapper that has a long successful career ahead of him. His lyrics are always right on point and hit hard, always conveying his message clearly whatever emotion the beat induces.

It has seriously been an honour and privilege to have worked with Exotic on this track, literally has been a game changer for me. Looking forward to working with him again in the very near future and to watching first hand as his music inspires his listeners and popularity grows. Just remember UK, you heard him here first!!
